Baby Sophia Home At Laast

Baby is a ten year old Lhasa Apsos who was found wandering the streets. She was taken in by Lisa, whose vet told her that this sweet dog was mostly blind, deaf and had a heart murmur. She asked us to post her on the website in the hopes of finding her a home. We were delighted when we received an application the first day by a wonderful couple who have a heart for senior pets, knowing they may not have them for long but determined to make the time together the best of their lives. Baby is now Sofia, which is Spanish for wisdom or wise ~ at age ten, she has had to become wise to survive. Her heart problem is being diagnosed, but their vet is more optimistic that the original vet. According to her new family, "Sofia is the sweetest animal we have ever seen.
