Hallie the almost Surrendered Kitten

Hallie represents one of my happiest stories. I have the difficult task of processing the Surrender Applications. That's how I learned about Hallie, a kitten who showed up on Kathy's back porch one morning at 4:30 am. Since she already had two cats, she asked us to find Hallie a home. But by the time this good lady got Hallie fattened up, vet checked and spayed, she was in love. I was so happy when she cancelled her Surrender Application. Several months I received this photo along with this e-mail: "Well here is a picture of Hallie and me for your family album. She's up to 9 pounds. A far cry from the 1.2 pounds when I first found her :) Kathy" And they all lived happily ever after!
