Pumpkin Spice is more than a season, it's a way of life! Our sweet, wiggly little girl's story didn't start out easy. She was found on the side of the road abandoned in a filthy wire crate and was emaciated with white gums and ribs showing. Despite the fact that she clearly had not seen much kindness she was outgoing and her tail never stopped wagging especially when we had food! She has gained about 9 pounds of much needed weight in our care and her playful personality is as bright as her future. She quickly learned to SIT for treats, we're pretty sure she'd do anything for treats! She seemed to be a little confused with bathtime but was a good sport about it. She hasn't had a lot of leash walking practice but we're confident that her love of people and treats will help her master it. She doesn't have a favorite toy yet, so far she loves them all. Squeaky toys, stuffed animals and peanut butter Kongs are all welcomed by Pumpkin Spice! She is a beautiful girl who deserves her happily ever after.

All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
