Our little Athena was picked up by Animal Control in a strawberry patch. We must admit she has been one of our sweetest picks! She loves to stay close to our volunteers and absolutely loves attention. She does well with other dogs and has made several doggy friends. She has done well on leash walks and seems to prefer leisurely strolls over jogs. Athena has a playful and peaceful personality. She's ready to add a little sweetness to some lucky family!

All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
