Dixie
Our sweet Dixie came to us over 2 years ago. We often don't know much about our animals' past life but we wonder what type of life Dixie had. She's been quite shy since we've had her and always seems like she's waiting for something bad to happen. When people visit her room, she often makes herself hidden or simply shuts her eyes and tenses up. She has reluctantly accepted continued visits and head scratches from one of our volunteers.
