A lion in a cats clothing

Currently living at: Shelter, looking for forever. Layton was returned to the shelter due to no fault of his own. Unfortunately the resident cats were not accepting of Layton. His adopters had the most amazing things to say about him and were heartbroken it didn't work out. Layton will need a family who is cat savvy that will give him the time he needs to trust. He will do best as the only cat in the home with no small children.

"Layton is a very affectionate, loving kitty who should make an ideal lifelong companion for someone. He likes to initiate contact with you first for petting. He also loves to be brushed and is very active at play. Potential adoptive families should not be putt off by his outward shyness- he just needs time to trust them."

Are you that special family that Layton needs to spend the rest of his life with?

More about Layton

Good with Adults

All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.

Please look in the lefthand menu bar for "Adoption Info" and applications.
